During BimBamBoehmerBoem! 7090 takes the legacy of Holland's most formidable composer and music critic Konrad Boehmer in hand, lifts it out of its context and gives it a new place in the twenty-first century.
From Tuesday 6 to Saturday 10 September music will blare through the corridors, texts will drip from the walls and art and kitsch from Konrad Boehmer's private collection will fill the rooms of Pampus.
On Sunday 11 September, 7090 will close with four explosive performances.

7090 travels to festivals with its fairground attractions. ABSTRACTIONPARK7090 takes place in public spaces, it’s free and it’s filled with installations, analogue machines, performances and soundscapes. In ABSTRACTIONPARK7090 we dream out loud and create a place where you can experience just how surprising, beautiful and inviting our melting pot of art forms can be.
ABSTRACTIONPARK7090 can be recognized by its cheerful geometric design: 7 columns, a pyramid and an enormous cluster of spheres are arranged in a public space. They form the three abstractions: The GROM, The GROT and The GROET. Each abstraction offers a world of experiences to the curious visitor.

A narrator, a woman in a bathtub, an electric moon, a stalker and a passer-by are stuck in a situation that doesn’t lead anywhere.
In every performance Thanasis Deligiannis lets the musicians reinvent the way to unfold the drama.
The Moon Is Electric consists of five short solos that can be played alone or in any combination with each other, each time offering a new glimpse of the Electric Moon’s surreal story by Andriana Minou. The musicians use their instruments, bodies and voices to re-enact the five characters and deliver the story.

PAVILLION7090 was part of
the Dutch Season during the Brighton Fringe Festival 2017.
For 2 weeks we were invited to curate a pop-up EXPO.
At the hart of the festival
we painted a building site following the rules of
Piet Mondriaan and filled it with our art and performances. Passers-by were invited to
enter PAVILLION7090 and experience our curious takes on life, participate in it or start a conversation about it.

Some artists are not even born when they begin their work. Pleasant, this is 7090. They have been working for 15 years in various venues, all over the country. Now they announce their anniversary. With the main characters of the three artists of 7090. Younger artists 7090 do not know so well, wonder about its long existence. 7090 works of music for "so long"? How old would be 7090?
Many ensembles with such a record are almost fused with the performing arts. A moment and then reached 7090 also that status and is the famous "black hole" in sight. Fortunately there are plenty of ideas to ensure that they fall into it. Together with their friends 7090 goes back to now and they learn to cope with the new situation soon in order to prevent the fans from 7090 run screaming from the audience since 7090 -arrived as they are- is involved in everything. It has not yet! The Orgelpark is the host and the bar is open. It's time for an anniversary!

then we definitely came out of
the closet with
PAND7090
and promptly won the
Dioraphte Gold Award 2014 for best performance at the Amsterdam Fringe Festival.
PAND7090 stands for "space".
It is a concert hall, a shop, a gallery and a hangout all at once. But it could also be short for PANDEMONIUM:
a place where everything blends into a "unique, off the wall and brilliant piece of performance" (jury AFF 2014).
PAND 7090 is a musical raree show, where experience can be discovered at a bargain.

Erik Satie
Erik Satie was a strange man.
He owned 20 of the same suits and more than one hundred umbrella's. He was also the first artist to deliberately wear sunglasses for his image. But above all else Erik Satie was a genius and very influentual composer and a driving force for the genuine. His works of art were often absurd and full of ironic instructions.
7090 pays tribute to this visionary artist with
The Jellyfish Trap
(Le Piège de Meduse)
and brings a musical narrative based on Erik Satie's play
by the same name:
A cavalcade of
characters and explosions in an absurd ceremony with
intimate encounters, interspersed with
the original stage music.

7090 serves waste music.
What kind of residual notes
does the composer leave behind? Does he still have bones to pull a soup from? Or broccoli bark and potato peel for broth?
What material does the composer save for tomorrow? And how do those remains sound then? 7090 gathers discarded material and leftovers together
and serves a refreshed meal.
The "leftovers" are photos, concepts, words, sketches, recordings or notes
and put the composer in a different light. Here he does not deliver a polished piece,
but rather a process in the making. He is still stirring his semi-finished product, or better, chewing his residual product.
7090 ultimately delivers the end product in absurd and
small-scale music theater.
They scrape the meat from the pan and heat the food from last night: A day later, a stew always tastes better.

In this musical road movie a kart was converted into a camper in two days. At the same time, an imaginary landscape was developed, made and filmed through which the eventual camper traveled. Together with the music of 7090 and improtrio Trolleybus, the two-day event became a true art performance.
